Ingredients

  • 12 chicken wings whole wings or pre-cut
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or cooking spray
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce choose your favorite!

Instructions

Prep the Chicken Wings:

  • Pat the chicken wings dry using paper towels. Dry wings help achieve a crispy texture.
  • Place them in a large bowl.

Season the Wings:

  • Drizzle olive oil or spray with cooking spray over the wings.
  • Sprinkle with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Toss until the wings are evenly coated with seasonings.

Air Fry the Wings:

  • Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
  • Arrange the wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding.
  • Air fry for 25-30 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking.
  • The wings are ready when they’re golden brown and crispy on the outside.

Sauce ‘Em Up:

  • While the wings are hot, toss them in BBQ sauce until fully coated.
  • For extra caramelization, return the sauced wings to the air fryer for an additional 2-3 minutes.

Serve and Enjoy:

  • Serve the wings hot with extra BBQ sauce for dipping.
  • Pair with crunchy veggies or a creamy dip like ranch or blue cheese for the ultimate combo.
