- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- ½ cup milk
- ¼ cup butter melted or vegetable oil
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup blueberries fresh or frozen
- 1 tbsp flour for tossing the blueberries
Mix Dry Ingredients
In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Mix Wet Ingredients
In another bowl, whisk milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla.
Pour & Bake
Pour batter into the pan, smooth the top, and bake for 20-25 minutes at 320°F. Check with a toothpick—if it comes out clean, it’s done!
- If using frozen blueberries, don’t thaw—just toss in flour and mix in frozen.
- Cover with foil if the top browns too quickly before the cake is fully baked.
- Add a bit of lemon zest for extra flavor!
