Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ cup milk
  • ¼ cup butter melted or vegetable oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup blueberries fresh or frozen
  • 1 tbsp flour for tossing the blueberries

Instructions

Preheat the Air Fryer

  • Set it to 320°F (160°C) and let it preheat for 3 minutes.

Mix Dry Ingredients

  • In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

Mix Wet Ingredients

  • In another bowl, whisk milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla.

Combine Wet & Dry

  • Gently stir the wet mixture into the dry ingredients until just combined. Don’t overmix!

Prep the Blueberries

  • Toss blueberries in 1 tbsp of flour so they don’t sink in the batter. Gently fold them in.

Grease the Cake Pan

  • Use a 6-inch round cake pan or an air fryer-safe dish and grease it with butter or spray.

Pour & Bake

  • Pour batter into the pan, smooth the top, and bake for 20-25 minutes at 320°F. Check with a toothpick—if it comes out clean, it’s done!

Cool & Serve

  • Let it cool for at least 10 minutes before slicing. Serve plain, with powdered sugar, or with ice cream!

Notes

  • If using frozen blueberries, don’t thaw—just toss in flour and mix in frozen.
  • Cover with foil if the top browns too quickly before the cake is fully baked.
  • Add a bit of lemon zest for extra flavor!
Storage: Keep in an airtight container for up to 2 days at room temp or 5 days in the fridge.
