Air Fryer Chicken Thighs Recipe
If you're like me, some nights you just want something that’s easy to make but still tastes amazing. Enter air fryer chicken thighs. I’ve made these so many times, and they never fail to impress. The skin gets all crispy, the meat stays juicy, and it’s ready in about 20 minutes! It’s a total lifesaver when I’m running out of time but still want something that feels like a special dinner.
Prep Time 10 minutes mins
Cook Time 20 minutes mins
- 4 bone-in skin-on chicken thighs
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp paprika smoked paprika is optional for extra flavor
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme or oregano
- 1/2 tsp salt adjust to taste
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Prep Chicken:
Pat the chicken thighs dry with a paper towel. Drizzle with olive oil and rub it in. Sprinkle with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, salt, and pepper. Rub the seasoning all over the chicken.
Cook Chicken (10 mins - Skin-side Down):
Flip and Cook (10-12 mins - Skin-side Up):
- For extra crispy skin, increase the cooking time by 2-3 minutes.
- If using skinless thighs, reduce cooking time slightly and check for doneness.
