Ingredients

For Marinade:

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt plain
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp coriander
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp chili powder optional
  • Salt to taste

Chicken:

  • 1.5 lbs boneless chicken thighs or breasts cut into chunks
  • Oil spray for air fryer basket

Instructions

Make the Marinade

  • In a large bowl, mix together yogurt, lemon juice, and all spices until smooth.

Marinate the Chicken

  • Add chicken pieces to the marinade and coat well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 mins (or overnight).

Preheat Air Fryer

  • Set air fryer to 375°F and let it preheat for 3–5 minutes. Spray the basket lightly with oil.

Air Fry Chicken

  • Place marinated chicken in the basket in a single layer. Air fry for 12–15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through. Cook in batches if needed.

Serve & Enjoy

  • Sprinkle with fresh cilantro and serve hot with rice, naan, or wrapped in a tortilla!

Notes

  • Don't overcrowd the basket—space = crispy edges
  • Use pre-made tikka masala seasoning for a shortcut
  • Leftovers? Toss 'em in a salad or wrap for lunch tomorrow
