Ingredients

  • 4 chicken thighs boneless or bone-in, skin on or off
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • Salt to taste
  • Black Pepper to taste

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat the air fryer

  • Set air fryer to 380 degrees. Let it heat up for about 5 minutes while you get the chicken ready.

Step 2: Mix the seasoning

  • In a bowl, stir together oil or butter, garlic, thyme, rosemary, parsley, salt, and pepper.

Step 3: Coat the chicken

  • Rub that garlic herb mix all over the chicken thighs. Make sure each piece is coated good.

Step 4: Air fry the chicken

  • Put the chicken in the air fryer basket in one layer. Do not crowd it. Air fry for 18 to 20 minutes, flipping halfway through.

Step 5: Check if it is done

  • Chicken should be 165 degrees inside. Cut into one if you are not sure. It should not be pink.

Step 6: Let it rest

  • Take the chicken out and let it sit for 5 minutes so it stays juicy.

Step 7: Serve and enjoy

  • Serve with whatever you got on hand—rice, veggies, noodles, even toast.

  • Pat chicken dry before seasoning for better crisp.

Variations

  • Swap olive oil with butter for extra rich flavor.
  • Try lemon zest or paprika for a twist.
  • Use boneless chicken breast if that is what you have—just check cook time.
  • Add red chili flakes if you like it spicy.
