Prep Time 12 minutes mins
Cook Time 22 minutes mins
- 1 lb Chicken Tenders or chicken breasts, cut into strips
- 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
- 1 cup Panko Breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1-2 Eggs depending on how many tenders you have
- Salt & Pepper to taste
- Cooking Spray for crisping
Set Up the Breading Station:
In a bowl, whisk the eggs with a pinch of salt and pepper. In another bowl, mix the panko breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and a bit of black pepper.
Air Fry the Tenders:
Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Place the breaded tenders in a single layer (don’t overcrowd). Lightly spray the tops with cooking spray as well.
Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through. They’re done when the outside is golden and crispy, and the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- You can substitute chicken breasts for tenders if preferred.
- Serve with a side of salad, fries, or roasted vegetables for a complete meal.
Tip: For extra crispiness, you can double-coat the tenders by dipping them in egg and breadcrumbs again before air frying.
