Ingredients

  • 1 lb Chicken Tenders or chicken breasts, cut into strips
  • 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 cup Panko Breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1-2 Eggs depending on how many tenders you have
  • Salt & Pepper to taste
  • Cooking Spray for crisping

Instructions

Prep the Chicken:

  • Pat the chicken tenders dry with a paper towel to help the coating stick better.

Set Up the Breading Station:

  • In a bowl, whisk the eggs with a pinch of salt and pepper. In another bowl, mix the panko breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and a bit of black pepper.

Bread the Tenders:

  • Dip each chicken tender in the egg mixture, then coat with the panko-Parmesan mix. Press gently to make sure the coating sticks well.

Air Fry the Tenders:

  • Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Place the breaded tenders in a single layer (don’t overcrowd). Lightly spray the tops with cooking spray as well.
  • Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through. They’re done when the outside is golden and crispy, and the internal temperature reaches 165°F.

Serve:

  • Remove from the air fryer and serve hot with your favorite dipping sauces.

Notes

  • You can substitute chicken breasts for tenders if preferred.
  • Serve with a side of salad, fries, or roasted vegetables for a complete meal.
Tip: For extra crispiness, you can double-coat the tenders by dipping them in egg and breadcrumbs again before air frying.
