Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken wings
  • ½ cup pineapple juice
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil optional
  • Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

Prepare the Marinade:

  • In a bowl, mix pineapple juice, soy sauce, honey, garlic, and ginger. Stir until combined.

Marinate the Wings:

  • Place the chicken wings in a large resealable bag or bowl. Pour the marinade over the wings, ensuring they are fully coated. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or up to 4 hours.

Preheat the Air Fryer:

  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).

Cook the Wings:

  • Arrange the marinated wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown and crispy.

Glaze (Optional):

  • Heat the leftover marinade in a small saucepan and bring it to a boil for 2-3 minutes to create a glaze. Brush over the cooked wings for extra flavor.

Serve and Enjoy:

  • Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions. Serve warm as a snack or with rice for a full meal.
