Ingredients

  • 4 medium russet potatoes or any potatoes you prefer
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or your favorite oil
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Pinch of cayenne pepper optional, for extra spice

Instructions

Prep the Potatoes:

  • Wash and peel (if preferred) the potatoes. Slice them into thin fries for extra crispiness.

Season the Fries:

  • In a large bowl, toss the potato slices with olive oil. Add Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper. Mix well until fries are evenly coated.

Preheat the Air Fryer:

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F for about 3 minutes.

Air Fry the Fries:

  • Place the seasoned fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket (you may need to do this in batches). Cook at 400°F for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through. Cook longer for extra crispiness.

Serve:

  • Once fries are crispy and golden, serve them hot with your favorite dipping sauce, like ranch or garlic aioli.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, don’t overcrowd the basket—cook in batches if needed.
  • Want them spicier? Add more cayenne or Cajun seasoning.
  • These fries go great as a side to burgers, grilled chicken, or as a snack!
