Air Fryer Vegan Brownies
These air fryer vegan brownies are rich, fudgy, and made right in your air fryer. No oven, no mess, just pure chocolate magic. They are perfect for a quick dessert, school snacks, or late-night sweet cravings when everyone else is asleep. Even my three teens could not tell they were vegan!
Prep Time 10 minutes mins
Cook Time 16 minutes mins
Total Time 29 minutes mins
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ½ cup cocoa powder
- ¾ cup sugar
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup plant-based milk almond, oat, or soy
- ⅓ cup melted coconut oil or vegan butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ cup vegan chocolate chips optional but, like… not really optional
In a big bowl, mix all your dry ingredients together — flour, cocoa, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Pour in the wet stuff — milk, melted coconut oil, and vanilla. Stir it up till it’s thick and smooth.
Fold in the chocolate chips (because duh).
Line a small square baking pan that fits in your air fryer with parchment paper and pour the batter in.
Air fry at 320°F (160°C) for 15–18 minutes.
Let it cool a bit — if you can wait — then slice into fudgy squares.
Tips
-
Check the brownies at 15 minutes to make sure they do not overbake.
-
Add a spoon of applesauce or mashed banana for extra fudgy texture.
-
Sprinkle sea salt or extra chocolate chips on top before air frying for a fancy touch.
-
Use parchment paper for easy cleanup and neat brownie edges.
-
If your air fryer is small, make two small batches instead of one thick one.
