  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1/2 cup shrimp cooked chopped
  • 1/2 cup crab meat cooked chopped
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning optional but adds flavor
  • 1 tablespoon parsley chopped fresh
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt to taste
  • pepper to taste

Instructions

Step 1: Make the filling

  • In a medium bowl, mix cream cheese, mayonnaise, shredded cheddar, Old Bay, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth and creamy.

Step 2: Add the seafood

  • Gently fold in the chopped shrimp, crab meat, and parsley until evenly combined.

Step 3: Spread on tortillas

  • Lay a tortilla flat. Spread about a quarter of the seafood mixture evenly over the tortilla, leaving a small border around the edges.

Step 4: Roll it up

  • Roll the tortilla tightly from one end to the other. Repeat with remaining tortillas and filling.

Step 5: Chill

  • Wrap each roll in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least one hour to make slicing easier.

Step 6: Slice and serve

  • Slice each roll into 1-inch pinwheels. Arrange on a plate or pack in meal prep containers.

Notes

Tips

  • Use room temperature cream cheese for easier mixing.
  • Chill the rolls before slicing to keep them from falling apart.
  • Use a sharp knife and wipe it between cuts for neat pinwheels.
  • Add diced bell peppers or green onions for extra crunch and color.

Variations

  • Swap shrimp and crab with cooked lobster, imitation crab, or canned tuna.
  • Use flavored tortillas like spinach or sun-dried tomato for extra color and taste.
  • Try adding a little sriracha or hot sauce in the filling for a spicy version.
  • Make mini pinwheels using small tortillas for bite-sized appetizers.
