Crispy Air Fryer Potato Wedges

These crispy air fryer potato wedges are golden on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and packed with flavor. This easy air fryer recipe for potatoes is perfect for a quick side dish or snack. Ingredients
  

  • 3 large russet potatoes or Yukon Gold
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp salt plus more to taste
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp onion powder optional
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning or oregano

Instructions
 

Cut the Potatoes

  • Wash and scrub the potatoes. Cut them in half lengthwise, then slice each half into 3-4 wedges depending on thickness.

Soak for Extra Crispiness (Optional but recommended)

  • Place the wedges in a bowl of cold water for 20-30 minutes to remove starch. Drain and pat completely dry with a paper towel.

Season the Wedges

  • Toss the potatoes with olive oil and all the seasonings until evenly coated.

Air Fry the Potatoes

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Arrange the wedges in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 15-18 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.

Serve & Enjoy!

  • Sprinkle with extra salt and serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce!
