This simple cheese and fruit board is the perfect easy appetizer for a party, girls' night, or a casual snack dinner. It’s loaded with a mix of cheeses, fresh and dried fruits, crackers, nuts, and fun extras like honey or jam. Perfect for entertaining appetizers that look fancy but take almost no effort!

Ingredients
  

Cheese (Pick 3-4 varieties)

  • 4 oz Brie or goat cheese soft
  • 4 oz Sharp cheddar or Gouda firm
  • 4 oz Blue cheese or flavored cheese optional for variety

Fruits

  • 1 cup grapes
  • ½ cup strawberries or raspberries
  • 1 apple or pear sliced
  • ¼ cup dried apricots or cranberries

Crunchy Additions

  • 1 cup assorted crackers water crackers, pretzel crisps, etc.
  • ½ cup toasted almonds or candied pecans

Extras (Optional, but recommended!)

  • ¼ cup honey or fruit preserves for drizzling
  • ¼ cup olives or pickles for a salty contrast
  • 1 oz dark chocolate chunks because why not?

Instructions
 

Choose a Serving Board

  • Use a large wooden board, tray, or even a baking sheet. Anything works!

Arrange the Cheese

  • Place the cheeses first, spacing them out. Slice firmer cheeses ahead of time for easy grabbing.

Add the Fresh & Dried Fruits

  • Nestle grapes in bunches, fan out apple slices, and sprinkle in dried fruit for color.

Fill in with Crackers & Nuts

  • Stack or fan out crackers for a visually appealing look. Scatter nuts around for crunch.

Add Extras & Finishing Touches

  • Place honey or jam in a small dish, toss in some olives, and, if you're feeling fancy, drizzle honey over the brie.

  • Make ahead: Assemble everything but the crackers up to 4 hours in advance. Store in the fridge, then add crackers before serving.
