Grilled Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich

A quick and easy grilled peanut butter and jelly sandwich with a crispy golden crust and a warm, gooey center. Perfect for a simple meal or snack.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 slices bread
  • 2 tbsp peanut butter
  • 1-2 tbsp jelly
  • 1 tbsp butter softened

Instructions
 

  • Place all ingredients on your work surface and get everything ready.
  • Spread peanut butter evenly on one slice of bread, covering edge to edge.
  • Spread jelly evenly on the second slice, keeping the layer moderate.
  • Place both slices together with the filling inside and press gently.
  • Spread softened butter on the outer side of one slice. Flip and butter the other side.
  • Heat a pan or grill over medium heat for 1 to 2 minutes.
  • Place the sandwich on the hot surface and cook for 2 to 3 minutes without moving it.
  • Check the bottom. When golden brown, flip carefully using a spatula.
  • Cook the second side for another 2 to 3 minutes until crisp and golden.
  • Remove from heat and let it rest for 1 minute.
  • Slice diagonally and serve warm.

Notes

  • Cook on medium heat to avoid burning
  • Do not overfill the sandwich
  • Let it rest before slicing for cleaner cuts
  • Add bananas or honey for extra flavor
