Ingredients
  

  • 2 slices bread
  • 1 cup turkey cooked
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 2 lettuce leaves
  • 2 tomato slices
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp butter optional

Instructions
 

  • Place the cooked turkey in a bowl and shred into small pieces if needed.
  • Add mayonnaise, mustard, salt, and black pepper. Mix until the turkey is evenly coated and creamy.
  • Taste the mixture and adjust seasoning if needed. Add more mayonnaise if you prefer a softer texture.
  • Lay the bread slices on a flat surface. Spread butter lightly if using. Toast lightly if desired.
  • Spoon the turkey mixture onto one slice and spread it evenly across the surface.
  • Add lettuce leaves on top of the turkey layer, followed by tomato slices arranged in a single layer.
  • Place the second slice of bread on top and press gently to hold the sandwich together.
  • Cut the sandwich in half using a sharp knife.
  • Serve immediately for best flavor and texture.

  • For best results, use freshly cooked or properly stored leftover turkey
