Cuisine American
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 8 oz cream cheese softened
- 1 cup dill pickles finely chopped
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese shredded
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1 tbsp ranch seasoning
- 2 tbsp fresh dill optional
Place softened cream cheese in a mixing bowl. Add sour cream and ranch seasoning. Mix slowly until smooth and creamy, making sure no lumps remain.
Add finely chopped dill pickles. If pickles are very moist, pat them dry before adding. Stir in shredded cheddar cheese and fresh dill. Mix well until evenly combined.
Lay tortillas flat on a clean surface. Ensure they are soft and easy to roll.
Spread the pickle mixture evenly over each tortilla using a spatula. Leave a small border around the edges to prevent spilling during rolling.
Roll each tortilla tightly into a log shape. Apply gentle pressure to keep the roll firm and even.
Wrap each roll in plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator. Chill for at least one hour to allow the filling to set properly.
Remove from refrigerator and unwrap. Place on a cutting board and slice into one-inch pinwheels using a sharp knife. Clean the knife between cuts if needed.
Arrange on a serving plate and serve immediately or keep chilled until ready to serve.
- Dry pickles slightly before mixing to avoid excess moisture
- Chill longer for firmer and cleaner slices
- Do not overfill tortillas to keep rolls neat
- Best served chilled for the best texture
