Ingredients

  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 200 g smoked salmon
  • 200 g cream cheese softened
  • 2 tbsp sour cream
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill finely chopped
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  • Place softened cream cheese in a mixing bowl. Add sour cream, lemon juice, lemon zest, dill, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix until smooth and creamy with no lumps.
  • Lay tortillas flat on a clean surface. Ensure they are soft and flexible for easy rolling.
  • Spread an even layer of the cream cheese mixture over each tortilla, making sure to cover all edges.
  • Arrange smoked salmon slices evenly over the cream cheese layer, ensuring full coverage without overlapping too much.
  • Roll each tortilla tightly into a log shape, pressing gently as you roll to keep it firm and even.
  • Wrap each roll in plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to firm up.
  • Remove from the refrigerator, unwrap, and slice into even pinwheels using a sharp knife. Clean the knife between cuts for neat slices.
  • Arrange on a serving plate and serve chilled.

Notes

  • Chilling is important for clean slicing and better shape
  • Use a sharp knife for best results
  • Do not overfill to avoid uneven rolls
  • Serve fresh for best taste and texture
