Cuisine American
- 3 cups Rice Chex
- 3 cups Corn Chex
- 2 cups pretzels
- 1 cup bagel chips
- 1 cup mixed nuts
- 1/2 cup butter melted
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp seasoned salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 –1 tsp cayenne pepper
Preheat oven to 250°F and line a large baking pan with parchment paper to prevent sticking and help with easy cleanup.
In a large mixing bowl, combine Rice Chex, Corn Chex, pretzels, bagel chips, and mixed nuts. Toss gently so the mix stays whole and evenly distributed.
In a separate small bowl, mix melted butter with Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, seasoned salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Stir until fully blended.
Slowly pour the butter mixture over the dry ingredients while stirring continuously. Make sure all pieces are coated evenly without soaking any one area too much.
Transfer the coated mix onto the prepared baking pan. Spread it into an even layer so it bakes evenly and gets crispy on all sides.
Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes to prevent burning and to ensure even coating and crisping.
Remove from oven and allow the mix to cool completely on the pan. The texture will become crisp as it cools.
Once cooled, store in an airtight container or serve immediately for a fresh, crunchy snack.
- Adjust cayenne pepper to control spice level
- Store in airtight container for up to 1 week
- For extra crunch, bake a few minutes longer while watching closely
