Ingredients

  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 8 slices deli turkey
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1/2 cup lettuce finely chopped

Instructions

  • In a medium mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, garlic powder, and salt. Mix slowly until the texture is smooth and creamy with no lumps.
  • Place one tortilla flat on a clean work surface. Spread a generous, even layer of the cream cheese mixture across the entire tortilla, making sure to reach all edges.
  • Lay turkey slices evenly over the cream cheese layer, slightly overlapping them so the tortilla is fully covered. Press gently so they stick.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the turkey, followed by chopped lettuce. Keep the layer even but not too thick to make rolling easier.
  • Starting from one side, roll the tortilla tightly into a log. Use gentle pressure as you roll to keep it firm and compact.
  • Wrap the rolled tortilla tightly in plastic wrap. Place it in the refrigerator and chill for at least 30 minutes to help it firm up and hold shape.
  • Remove from the fridge and unwrap. Place on a cutting board and use a sharp knife to slice into 1-inch thick pinwheels. Clean the knife between cuts if needed for neat slices.
  • Arrange on a plate and serve fresh.

Notes

  • Chilling longer will make slicing even easier
  • Do not skip spreading to the edges for full flavor
  • Best served fresh but can be stored in the fridge for up to 24 hours
