  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1 garlic clove minced
  • 1 tsp cornstarch + 1 tbsp water for thickening

Instructions

Step 1: Prep Those Wings

  • Pat the wings dry with a paper towel for extra crispiness.
  • Toss them in a bowl with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well to coat evenly.

Step 2: Cook in the Air Fryer

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3-5 minutes.
  • Lay the wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket—no stacking!
  • Cook for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.

Step 3: Make the Sauce

  • In a small saucepan, combine soy sauce, honey, brown sugar, rice vinegar, sesame oil, ginger, and garlic.
  • Simmer over medium heat. Mix cornstarch with water and stir into the sauce. Cook for 1-2 minutes until thickened.

Step 4: Coat the Wings

  • Place cooked wings in a large bowl.
  • Pour the teriyaki sauce over the wings and gently toss until fully coated.

Step 5: Serve and Enjoy

  • Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions if desired.
  • Serve hot and watch them disappear!

Notes

  • For even crispier wings, air fry for an additional 2-3 minutes after coating with sauce.
  • These wings pair beautifully with a side of rice or a crunchy slaw for a complete meal!
