Ingredients

  • 1 ½ pounds chicken wings fresh or frozen
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 tablespoons freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 2-3 cloves garlic minced
  • Fresh parsley optional, for garnish

Instructions

Prep the Wings:

  • Pat the wings dry using paper towels to help them crisp up in the air fryer.
  • Place them in a large bowl.

Season the Wings:

  • Drizzle olive oil over the wings and toss to coat.
  • Add garlic powder, onion powder, dried Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Toss again until evenly coated.

Preheat the Air Fryer:

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.

Cook the Wings:

  • Arrange the wings in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Avoid overcrowding.
  • Cook at 400°F for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through for even crispiness.

Make the Garlic Parmesan Sauce:

  • While wings cook, melt butter in a small pan over medium heat.
  • Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant (don’t let it burn!).
  • Remove from heat and stir in grated Parmesan cheese to create a rich, cheesy sauce.

Toss and Serve:

  • Once wings are done, transfer them to a large bowl.
  • Pour the garlic parmesan sauce over the wings and gently toss to coat.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
